The defense of the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the exercise of these rights is something fundamental and something for which we must continue to work.

Cognitive accessibility helps autonomous living because it makes the world easier to understand.

For example, if laws or public administration documents are easy to read, it is easier to know and claim our rights.

Therefore, the work done to adapt documents for easy reading is very important.

The brochure presented on Tuesday is called How can I make a claim?

The brochure explains how and where Aragonese consumers can complain.

Consumers have the right to complain:
- If they buy a product and it does not work well.
- If they receive poor service.

The brochure helps people with intellectual disabilities or cognitive difficulties to claim their rights as consumers in an easy and autonomous way.

The brochure How can I make a claim? is part of a collection of 3 brochures adapted to easy reading from Plena Inclusion Aragon for the Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Users of the Government of Aragon.

The first brochure gives basic advice for consumers.

This brochure was presented at the offices of Atadiin Teruel.

The second brochure explains what a basic payment account is.

This brochure was presented at the offices of Valentiain Huesca.
