MBCT Project

The European project Creativity with MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) aims to create an inclusive environment that removes the psychosocial and economic barriers faced by women with physical disabilities and caregivers of people with disabilities. By providing opportunities to achieve economic autonomy and potential development in innovative creations and arts.

The project aims to increase their well-being and contribute to the development of individuals and society as a whole. Specific objectives include improving mental health status, introducing innovative tools in adult education, improving creative thinking skills, developing knowledge and skills in digital entrepreneurship, contributing to sustainability goals and promoting smart, sustainable and inclusive economies.

The project's objectives also include assessing mental health status, establishing a digital education platform, creating an ecosystem through a digital forum, imparting entrepreneurial skills, and promoting recycling awareness and sustainable livelihood practices.

This project was born out of the high unemployment rates among women with disabilities, especially in Europe and Turkey, and aims to improve their psychosocial and economic well-being through sustainable livelihood practices.

Kairós participates in this European Union project with: ISTANBUL GELISIM UNIVERSITY (Turkey) project coordinator, BEYLIKDUZU BELEDIYESI (Turkey), GREEK CARES NETWORK EPIONI (Greece), PMI SERVICES SOC, COOP. (Italy) and GIP FORMATION CONTINUE ET INS.PROFES.DE L'ACADEMIE DE CRETEL (France).
