An Inclusive Future for All
Inclusive Classroom: Transforming Education
Discover how the Aula Inclusiva project is changing lives by integrating children with intellectual disabilities into regular classrooms, promoting an equitable education adapted to their needs.
About Aula Inclusiva
Aula Inclusiva is a pioneering project that seeks the integration of children with intellectual disabilities into the regular education system. Through curricular adaptations and a personalized approach, we work to ensure that each student receives the attention and support needed to thrive in an inclusive environment. This project is fundamental to promoting equal opportunities and improving the quality of life of students and their families.
Characteristics of the Project
Project Objective
To promote learning and develop the maximum capabilities of each child, through individualized intervention, always unified and coordinated with the teaching team of the center, the family and all those professionals involved in the educational process.
We consider the person as a whole, so that the response and attention transcend the curricular elements to intervene on aspects inherent to the overall development of the person: social skills, emotional aspects, routines and daily habits and personal autonomy, essential aspects both for daily life and for their future.
For what, How, Where?
We believe it is essential that they acquire the tools and develop strategies to achieve the greatest possible autonomy and independence, as well as to develop self-determination in society.
We believe that the best way to achieve this is to do it in interaction with others, in ordinary contexts, through experience.
Our work is mainly focused on the school environment where we develop the Inclusive Classrooms project, based on the right to equal opportunities and the need to adjust the educational system in response to diversity in the classroom.
SERVICES
Inclusive Classroom Service
The Inclusive Classroom project allows us to participate and help build a teaching-learning process that offers an educational response based on the potential of each individual and adjusted to their needs.
Specific Sessions
Language and communication development. Stimulation of all areas involved in language and communication.
Functional skills. Psycho-pedagogical sessions to develop the ability to apply skills in the resolution of daily tasks, promoting autonomy. We work on the acquisition of basic instrumental contents (reading, writing, communication, logical-mathematical reasoning...), and the stimulation of executive functions (attention, memory, planning...).
Social and emotional skills and behavioral support. The aim is to improve self-control, assertive communication, self-regulation and emotional management skills.
Post-compulsory accompaniment
At the end of the compulsory education stage, we offer the possibility of monitoring and accompanying the students.
This is a time of transition and important change in their lives as they leave the school where many have spent their entire schooling and begin to open up and train for their future careers.
Family Accompaniment
This service provides advice and guidance to families with children who do not require support in the classroom at that moment, but can benefit from a psycho-pedagogical orientation that allows them to improve globally both in the school and family environment.
Through monitoring and communication with all the agents involved in the educational process of each student, we achieve a better knowledge of their evolution, a better coordination among all of them and therefore the possibility of adjusting the response appropriately to the real needs of each moment.
