People with disabilities are beginning their training with professionals from the Aragonese Society of Magic and will perform on October 20 at the Teodoro Sánchez Punter Civic Center as part of the “Zaragoza Mágica 2026” program

The Network of Civic Centers in Zaragoza has been promoted in collaboration with Kairos, and as part of the Zaragoza Mágica 2026 program, the activity “Magic Without Limits,” An artistic, educational, and social initiative featuring people with disabilities from the Kairós Occupational Center and Kambalache, the organization’s recreational center.

During September and October, participants will take part in various magic workshops led by magicians from the Aragonese Society of Illusionism, who will serve as their instructors and guide them through the learning process, rehearsals, and preparation of their own acts.

Cards, tricks, sleight of hand, surprises, acting, and many hours spent together will all go into preparing a show in which the spotlight will shift to the other side: It will be the participants themselves who will work their magic in front of the audience.

October 20: The Big Event

The results will be available on October 20 at the Teodoro Sánchez Punter Civic Center, when everything we've learned over the past few weeks will be put into practice.

“Magic Without Limits” It has an artistic dimension, but also an educational and social one. The project uses magic as a tool to foster “creativity, autonomy, expression, participation, and confidence,” while also creating new spaces for social interaction.

The "Magical Zaragoza" program It has been held since 2024, and this year’s edition will offer events for audiences of all ages from September 12 to December 12. Since Kairós joined the program, the organization has become one of its regular participants, bringing an inclusive perspective in which people with disabilities are no longer merely the audience but also take center stage in the creative process and the artistic experience.

Kairós is a social enterprise cooperative that is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. It offers support in the areas of employment, education, and social services to people who, for various reasons, need it. Website: kairos.coop
