Ibercaja held last Wednesday the fourth edition of its Solidarity Dinner, in which it delivered donations to 17 projects of non-profit organizations, within the framework of the initiatives 'Your money with heart' and 'Impulso solidario', in addition to 20,000 euros to the Hermandad del Refugio.

Kairós, with its "Inclusive Classroom," was one of the organizations awarded the Impulso Solidario (Solidarity Boost) prize, an initiative aimed at Ibercaja employees with the aim of strengthening the bank's social commitment through the collaboration and direct participation of its workers. Through this program, employees present the social and environmental projects to which they are committed.

Aula Inclusiva is a project of collaboration, support and psycho-pedagogical intervention in regular schools, which is based on the right to equal opportunities and the need to adjust the educational system to respond to the diversity of the classroom. It is managed from the disability area of Kairos, thus providing a specific, personalized and specialized intervention, as well as promoting inclusion from an early age.

The team is made up of psycho-pedagogues, psychologists and teachers specialized in attention to diversity, who base their actions on the three principles of inclusive education: presence, participation and progress. Interventions are carried out in the natural context of learning - ordinary classrooms - and are extended to all spaces and moments of school life, thus promoting learning in ordinary environments and in interaction with others, through experience.

Kairós would like to acknowledge the support of its employees, the Ibercaja Foundation and Ibercaja bank to promote the project and continue developing this innovative action in the educational field.
