The conference was inaugurated by the Delegate of the Government of Aragon, Fernando Beltrán Blázquez, who highlighted the work of all the projects within the framework of the state deinstitutionalization strategy and the importance of promoting the inclusion and well-being of all people.
During the event, several pilot projects developed to transform the model of care and support for people in vulnerable situations were presented.

Kairós participates with the management of two apartments in the project Mi Casa, una vida en comunidad, which has meant that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with high support needs can live in the community, and not only in residences. In the autonomous community, in addition to Kairós, Atadi, Fundación Cedes and Valentia participate in this project, with the coordination of Plena Inclusion Aragón.
These projects represent a step forward in the search for more humane and person-centered care models, aligned with the deinstitutionalization policies that are being implemented at the state level, whose objective has been and is the transformation of the care model, offering people a more autonomous life in their social environment, highlighting the positive impact that these initiatives have generated.
The day culminated with the closing remarks of the Minister of Social Welfare and Family of the Government of Aragon, Carmen Susín, who stressed the importance of such meetings for the advancement of social innovation in the region along with the development of these initiatives that promote the strengthening of the rights and quality of life of people.
The social innovation conference showed how progress is not only measured in economic terms, but also in the capacity to innovate and improve people's quality of life through integral solutions that contribute to fairer and more sustainable social development.
