On the occasion of the International Year of Cooperatives, Kairós has participated today in the Cooperativism Day organized by Cepes Aragón, a meeting held in Zaragoza that brought together representatives of the Aragonese cooperative sector to reflect on the present and future of this business model based on participation, solidarity and sustainability.
The manager of Kairós, Gregorio Centro, has intervened as representative of a social initiative cooperative in the 2nd round table "Different sectors in which the worker cooperative operates. He shared the table with Aitor Manrique, from Esivent S. Coop, from the sector of industrial or technological activities, and Ricardo Forcadell Pérez, partner of Qilex Consultoría Forestal, from the sector of administrative and professional activities.
A growing sector that is building for the future
The event made it possible to make visible the plurality of worker cooperatives in Aragon, which contribute to the economic and social development of the community. On the International Day of Cooperatives, this meeting focused on the fact that cooperatives build a better world by placing people at the center and promoting a sustainable and participatory economic model.
