The registration period for the new training project, oriented to the logistics sector, and financed by the Aragonese Employment Institute of the Government of Aragon and the European Social Fund Plus, is now open.
Kairós, a social initiative cooperative, starts in Zaragoza this 2025 an ambitious program designed to improve employment opportunities for unemployed young people between 16 and 29 years old. This comprehensive employment project (PRO-IN) is a New Opportunity School for young people and is funded by the Government of Aragon through the Aragonese Employment Institute (INAEM) and the European Social Fund Plus. Its methodology combines innovative training, personalized guidance and a comprehensive approach that prioritizes the job placement and personal development of the participants.
The program focuses on the logistics sector, offering young people theoretical and practical training in key areas such as packaging, labeling, loading and unloading, forklift and pallet truck handling, among other skills. Kairós works with personalized itineraries that combine training, guidance and individualized support, development of digital competencies and transversal skills such as teamwork, self-knowledge and conflict resolution, as well as academic preparation and languages. All of this places the young person as the protagonist of his or her own process of change.
Aimed at young people between 16 The main objective of this project is to facilitate their social, educational and labor integration through actions that encourage them to resume their studies, broaden their training and enter the labor market, in addition to promoting habits and skills that promote an autonomous life. Educational innovation at the service of professional development
Through a team of teaching and career guidance professionals, the program focuses on personalization and active participation, promoting practical and dynamic learning, fostering the students' "Center of Interest" and cooperative learning. These initiatives seek to awaken the curiosity and motivation of the participants, while reinforcing fundamental values such as respect and tolerance. The connection with the workplace is also a priority, thanks to partnerships with companies in the logistics sector that allow young people to gain experience in simulated scenarios and real cases.
Kairos' experience in previous projects supports the effectiveness of this approach. During 2022 and 2023, the Innovative Program for Employment funded by the Government of Aragon and the National Plan for Recovery, Transformation and Resilience achieved a 74% job placement rate among unemployed youth.
With this new program, Kairós reaffirms its commitment to generate equal opportunities, and on this occasion, offering young people options for the future.
