Kairós Cooperativa de Iniciativa Social incorporates a new project to its network of actions, reinforcing its commitment to inclusion. With the name of "Aula Inclusiva", this initiative reinforces the attention to diversity and promotes equal opportunities from childhood. For this purpose, Kairós has relied on the team of professionals who were part of Fundación Lacus Aragón, to give continuity to the project developed for the educational inclusion and attention to diversity in the classroom.

The team is made up of psycho-pedagogues, psychologists and teachers specialized in attention to diversity, who base their actions on the three principles of inclusive education: presence, participation and progress. Interventions are carried out in the natural context of learning - ordinary classrooms - and are extended to all spaces and moments of school life, thus promoting learning in ordinary environments and in interaction with others, through experience.
The main objective of the project is to offer a quality educational response for all students, providing the necessary resources (human and material) at all educational stages and at the beginning of their working life. The project serves students with different characteristics and needs: intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, specific learning needs, special learning needs... promoting the maximum development of all their capabilities and taking into account the globality of the person.
In order to establish a unified and global intervention in all the contexts in which each child develops, the project contemplates coordination with all the agents involved in their development. We work in close collaboration with the teaching teams, we accompany and work directly with the families, and we also maintain coordination to unify the line of work with external services.
Likewise, training, specific advice and awareness-raising on inclusion and diversity are provided to students, professionals and families, with the aim of promoting an inclusive culture throughout the educational community.
Through the Inclusive Classrooms, Kairós continues its work to contribute to a fairer and more accessible society in which we all advance together towards full development.

With more than two decades of experience, Kairós has built a network of inclusive projects covering education, employment, housing and leisure, with the motto "We work for, by, with people". Kairós works in projects dedicated to children, youth and family, develops socio-labor projects in collaboration with different public institutions, and private initiative and collaborating companies, manages social housing programs and individual intervention plans. And in the area of disability and dependence, Kairós has a Day Center and Occupational Center, Adult Classroom, Special Employment Center Kentrikes, Integration Project of Special Education School Spaces (PIEE), Flats of autonomy and Leisure Center Kambalache.
