On June 21, 2009, a collaboration agreement was signed with Ibercaja Foundation y CAI Foundation which supports our GUIDE project that aims to facilitate the educational, labor and social integration of people with intellectual disabilities accompanied by a Guide that stimulates, enhances and empowers their abilities.
In the employment area of Kairos we work on the employability of people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to the work done, with motivational, pre-employment and employment actions, some of the participants have been able to achieve the goal of getting a job, as well as, in other cases, the training insertion. As an innovative experience, 4 participants with great leadership skills, who wish to transmit their experiences, will accompany and guide those colleagues who have greater difficulty in this process of insertion, acting as GUIDES with employment technicians, focusing their work on collaboration in the development of material and delivery of workshops aimed at empowerment, achieve skills and abilities, strengthen pre-employment and labor actions, to support a group of people with greater limitations and difficulties in their process of insertion, training, labor and social.
